Bangladeshi infiltrator held in border

Shillong , Dec 31 :  A  Bangladeshi infiltrator has been arrested by the BSF from  Borsora area along the  Indo-Bangla border of  Meghalaya today, official sources said.

The infiltrator, Kamal Uddin of Sunamganj district of Bangladesh, had entered Indian territory without valid documents. Indian currency worth Rs 2,000 was recovered from his possession, sources said.

In another incident, troops seized 15 kgs of ganja, being smuggled to Bangladesh, from the outskirts of border village of Jordanga in Dhubri district of Assam.
