Ahluwalia said that as the Commission was concerned about inadequate infrastructure in the North-eastern States, it is keen to expedite development of road network in the State.
Ahluwalia said 12th Plan would continue to focus on infrastructure development in the North-east.
Ahluwalia said the Commission was expecting from States their views on the ongoing social sector programmes and would be keen to bring about necessary changes in the guidelines if they were coming in the way of implementation.
