Official sources here today said the team, headed by CPI(M) MP Basudev Acharya, would take stock of farming activities and review the plan of enhancement of production submitted to the Planning Commission.
Besides visiting some agricultural fields, they will also hold meeting with the top officials of the administration, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and the Agriculture Minister. However, the incessant rain was proving to be a deterrent to the visit, officials added.
