Police registered a case under Arms Act against the Deputy Commissioner, the Superintendent of Police and the District Forest Officer of the Assam district for trespassing, dacoity, obstruction to government staff for
kidnapping, destruction of government property, criminal intimidation and violation of Inner Line Permit on that day when they allegedly led the Assam policemen to create havoc in the area. – PTI
