A total of 628 rounds of live ammunition was seized from three women travelling in a Tata Spacio gold bearing Regd No. Mn-1K/5586 from Moreh to Imphal along with other passenger on 09/08/2008 at 1.50 p.m. in front of M/s. Konsam Oil Service, Canchipur National Highway 39 by a team led by S.I. H. Devenkishor Singh of Narcotic Cell I-W. the accused identified as Mrs. Haatkhoneng, age 37 yrs, W/o Lunkhojeng Haokip of Singhat, CCpur District along with 2 bundles of ammunition marked as 300/cooc, containing 125 rounds each wrapped inside her body, a total of 250 rounds. and Mrs Lhingkholam Haokip, age 40 yrs, W/o Thangjamang Haokip of Moreh ward no 5, along with 3 bundles of ammunition marked as 300/cooc, containing 110 rounds, 100 rounds & 40 rounds respectively wrapped inside her body, a total 250 rounds and lastly Miss Lamkhochang Haokip, age 18 yrs D/o Thangjamang Haokip of Moreh ward no 5, along with 2 bundles of ammunition marked as 300/cooc, containing 64 rounds each, a total of 128 rounds.
